HOW DO I RESERVE A MOTORCYCLE?

You can visit https://www.caferides.com and fill in the Signup page and select a bike from our fleet at competitive prices.

WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS THAT I NEED TO SUBMIT TO TAKE THE MOTORCYCLE?

A copy of below mentioned documents need to be submitted in Caferides. It also needs to be verified in original for each rider.

  • Document 1 – Driving License
  • Document 2 – Passport/Election Card/Aadhaar Card/ID Issued by Central or State Govt (Any one of the above with address proof and photo)
    For foreigners: A valid driving license from their home country with International Driving Permit along with a valid Visa is necessary.

WHAT ARE THE FORMALITIES TO RENT A MOTORCYCLE?

  • You need to be of the legal age of 21 years or over.
  • You have to Sign up in Caferides Website.
  • Select the bike, Choose your date through Caferides website and confirm the booking.
  • Produce the documents (Original and a copy of Driving License + Secondary Address Proof) to Caferides office.
  • Hirer need to pay a refundable security deposit which will vary depending on the bike model and period of the trip.

HOW DO I PAY IF I HAVE A CREDIT CARD?

For customers with Indian bank account, Caferides have the option for online payment. And for customers with international account, you can transfer the fund to Account, which will be mentioned in the booking mail, or we will assist you with the paytm link. Please email or call Caferides for further assistance. Surcharge will be applied based on currency.

HOW TO MAKE SURE MY BOOKING IS CONFIRMED?

Your booking will be confirmed on receipt of payment. You will receive an email from Caferides confirming your booking and the address of the pick up location.

CAN I HIRE BIKE FOR LONG TRIPS?

Yes, you can hire bike for long trips. But if the ride exceeds 2000Km in a single booking, then rider needs to do the necessary bike service in authorised servicing firm. Rider has to share the service receipt with Caferides.

IS THE BIKE INSURED?

Yes, the bike is insured. But, if the rider violates Caferides terms and conditions, Insurance stands cancelled. Then, the rider has to bear all the costs for the losses.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you cancel the booking the refund would be made as per the following schedule-

  • Less than one week before the scheduled date of Hire-- No refund
  • One week to two weeks before the scheduled date of Hire -- 50% refund.
  • More than two weeks before the scheduled date of Hire -- 85% refund.
  • If Caferides cancel the booking due to break down, non availability of the bike or any other reason then we provide 100% refund of the rentals received.

    IS THE MOTORCYCLE GPS TRACKED?

    Yes, the motorcycle is tracked by highly sophisticated GPS device. Caferides will be triggered if the motorcycle breaches a set speed limit.

    WHAT ARE THE SPEED LIMITS?

    Caferides encourages the rider to follow the speed limit set as per Indian law. Caferides will charge a fine of Rs.500/- if the rider exceeds a speed of 80KmHr for motorcycles below 500CC and for motorcycles above 500CC, the over speed limit is 100KM. If any authority has penalized or fined, the driver or the vehicle owner in relation to Rider's usage of the Vehicle or while in his/her custody, the Hirer shall pay the compensation of such penalty awarded by such authority along with legal costs to Caferides.

    IS FUEL INCLUDED IN TARIFF?

    No,fuel is not included in the rental. For every booking caferides will provide the motorcycle with full tank petrol. And when rider returns the motorcycle, make sure the petrol tank is full.

    CAN I HAVE THE MOTORCYCLE DELIVERED TO MY LOCATION?

    Caferides always encourages the customer to pick the motorcycle from our office specified in the confirmation mail. In any special case, If the bike needs to be delivered to your preferred location, Caferides will charge depending on distance to the specified location from the Caferides office.

    IS THERE ANY LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF KILOMETERS THAT I CAN RIDE FOR A DAY?

    Yes, there is a 252 KM per 24 hours limit for all bikes after which every KM will be charged extra and the rates differs depending on the motorcycle.
